Roshan became a DJ because mixing songs in front of party people gives him the ultimate feeling. ‘I also really wanted to produce music that I could play in my sets, because it brings much more fulfilment to the proces’. He is the first DJ

who mixed voices of different singers in one Afghan song in 2003. After producing that remix, DJ Roshan was interviewed over the telephone by Afghan BBC radio (Haroon Yusufi). A few years later DJ Roshan flew to London for live interview with Afghan BBC radio.
DJ Roshan is always one with his audience, and is a party animal himself, often to be found between the people who are partying when he is finished playing!
